Our Teddy Bears’ Picnic is taking place this Wednesday (26th July) from 11-2 at Baddesley Clinton, rain or shine!
Please do come along and have a look, feel free to invite friends, relatives and neighbours.
There will be story telling, crafts and games, as well as a fantastic opportunity to let a whole new audience know all about the National Trust Solihull Centre.
Our morning walk on a fine 2nd July was from Balsall Common.
HS2 is to be built to the east of the village and 1150 new green belt homes are earmarked for the area as well and so it was an opportunity to walk an area of pleasant countryside much of which which will soon not exist, and where the rest will remain vulnerable to the insatiable demand for further development.
Our next walk on 6th August is from Studley.
Walks around Packwood House and Baddesley Clinton is available at Waterstone’s in solihull High Street and on Amazon. Seen here: author Peter Carbin (left) and illustrator Linton Harrison.
