Coughton Court

coughton_postcardCoughton has been home to the Throckmorton family for 600 years. Facing persecution for their catholic faith, they were willing to risk everything. You can explore their fascinating story through ‘Consequences of Conflict’ – illustrating a family’s ingenuity, resilience and resolve to overcome conflict in all its guises, from political and religious to conflicts of the heart.

Coughton is very much a family home with an intimate feel; the Throckmorton family still live here. They created and manage the stunning gardens, including a riverside walk, bog garden and beautiful display of roses in the walled garden.
