Sponsored Walk

The 2016 Solihull Centre Sponsored Walk

Baddesley Clinton to Warwick and back

Sunday 5th June 2016

Sponsored walkPeter Carbin has organised a special walk in addition to our normal first Sunday walk to raise funds for the National Trust Coastline Appeal.

The walks will be led and stewarded by the walking group from Solihull National Trust Centre. If you wish to drop out at any time a car will be close by to take you back to Baddesley Clinton.

Starting from Baddesley Clinton, the walk will be along lanes, footpaths and the Grand Union Canal to Warwick and back.

Please arrive at Baddesley Clinton by 9.45 a.m. as the walk starts at 10.00 a.m.

Please wear stout footwear and warm clothing. The walk will go ahead even if it is raining! All walkers take part at their own risk. Please follow any instructions and be aware of traffic when walking on roads.

There will be a shorter option as far as Rowington Church for those wanting just the normal morning walk, and you can do the full walk without sponsorship by making a donation.

To find Baddesley Clinton, follow the National Trust brown signs from the Warwick Road at Chadwick End.

Please park in the field at the top of the car park.

Toilets will be available before you start, and along the route.

We do hope you will be able to take part and raise money for the Solihull Centre’s Coastline Appeal. We hope you enjoy your walk in the Warwickshire countryside, and your visit to Baddesley Clinton.
