At the AGM in April our president David Bradnock handed over cheques for the following causes:
Neptune Coastline Appeal: £500
Baddesley Clinton – two iPads for visitor use: £500
Baddesley Clinton – New children’s trail in the house around stories of the Tudor inhabitants: £800
Coughton Court – New children’s trail in the house focusing on the story of the Gunpowder Plot: £800
Powis Castle – towards renovation: £100
Stourhead – towards renovation: 100
This represents a total of £2,800.
The retiring collection was £155 and the committee has decided to make this up out of funds to £300. The chosen cause for this year’s AGM was moorland in the Yorkshire Dales and this contribution will be handed over at the next AGM.
